Internet
Service Manager (ISM)
The main
application is used to control the loading of each configuration DLL. When the
application first starts, the ISM performs the following tasks:
1. Reads the registry to load preference settings and discover which
extension DLLs it needs to load.
2. Loads and initializes each configuration DLL. The configuration DLL
is queried on what type of service it is and what actions it supports.
3. Discovers what configurable services are installed on the local
machine and adds them to the default view.
4. Awaits the user s action. Optionally, the ISM may discover
available configurable services on the network.
